■ Overview
This program, along with the Nanjing University Intensive Lecture Series "Body Theory" of the academic year 2009, was intended to facilitate student exchange between students at the Japanese Department of Nanjing University and those at the University of Tokyo, who were selected based on their papers about the Preliminary Lectures offered in December, 2009. The students were grouped into two, one (2 students) sent to Nanjing University from February 28, 2010 to March 7 and the other from March 17 to 25, and each of them attended "Relation between the Robot's Corporeality and Cognition/Behavior" (March 1 to 2) by Prof. Yasuo Kuniyoshi, "Computer and VR" (March 4 to 5) by Prof. Michitaka Hirose, "Disability Studies and the Body through the Eyes of a Deafblind" (March 18 to 19) by Prof. Satoshi Fukushima, "<My> Body and Self-Determination: Shedding Light from the Transsexual and Intersexed Bodies" (March 23 to 24) by Prof. Shimizu Akiko. The students were asked to submit reports after their stay in Nanjing.
■ Activities in Nanjing
- Morning Lecture 8:00 to 12:00
- Afternoon From 14:00 discussion with students at the Japanese Department of Nanjing University on the content of lecture (for about an hour)
- Field Trips 1st on March 3, 2nd on March 20.
