U Tokyo Liberal Arts Program

Under the leadership of the UTokyo Global Leader Program for Social Design and Management (GSDM), the Division of International Cooperation has co-organized a film screening and a panel discussion on on-going human rights violations in Democratic Republic of Congo and social responsibility of the private sector in developed countries in the context of conflict resources. The screening of the film “The Man who Mends Women” which featured activities of Dr. Denis Mukwege and a panel discussion among representatives from the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA), Kyocera and the Pacific Asia Resource Center (PARC) were supported by the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) in Tokyo.
