Lecture by Dr. Mukwege on Sexual Violence and Conflict Minerals Co-organized

Together with the UTokyo Global Leader Program for Social Design and Management (GSDM), the Division of International Cooperation has co-organized a lecture on sexual violence and conflict minerals in Democratic Republic of Congo by Dr. Denis Mukwege, a Nobel Peace Prize nominee. Under the moderation by Assistant Professor Hanai at GSDM, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) President Dr. Kitaoka, Project Associate Professor Yonekawa at Rikkyo University, and Mr. Yoshinaga from the Advanced Material Japan participated as speakers, and 300 audience members joined the session.
