Theorizing the Body from Queer Theories
To whom does the body that we know as "my" body really belong? What sorts of ownership/say does the being called "I" possess over "my" body? We will consider various questions surrounding the right to self-determination in regards to "me" and "my" body from the angles of feminist theory as well as queer theory.

MA in English Literature (University of Tokyo), MA in Sexual Politics, Ph.D. in Critical and Cultural Theory (University of Wales, Cardiff). Main fields of research include Feminist/Queer Theories. Publications include Lying Bodies: Survival and Subversion in the Field of Vision(Peter Lang Pub Inc, 2008).
